We all need to unite against the users, those who make money from events that they orchestrate, e.g. BREXIT, or make money from COVID-19, instead of doing their jobs to help us, the people. They are the rich Tories, I know that sounds partisan. I get you wonder why I am blaming a group of rich people who've been running our country since 2008 for most of the problems since 2008. Well, they might not entirely create the problems, but they make sure that they make money from them, at the detriment of the ordinary people. Also, since Thatcher, the neo-liberal politics of people like Truss (obvious example, because she showed us her politics), has been to REDUCE PUBLIC SPENDING. It is their reason for living, their entire politics. They want to reduce spending on schools, teachers rights, pensions, pay. Nurses, rights, pensions, pay; Pharmacists rights, pensions, pay. FE, HE, Professors: rights pensions, pay. Solicitors, rights, pensions, pay. They hope to force us to move to private organisations, so we can try to get better conditions, but that will be at your, yes YOUR individual cost (like in America). We cannot continue, as a nation to cut-back on public tax investment in public services and expect conditions to improve. We will just have to look at our infrastructure continuing to deteriorate. Wonder why everyone is on strike? It's because of Tory neo-liberal politics, they do not want to continue to tax people so that we can all benefit from a welfare state, where there are free schools, free medical care, communities where lighting and bin collection exists. If you vote neo-liberal, you vote for your council going bust (no funding from government). You vote for less police who have poor pay and conditions (Inspector says we won't win so we can't arrest / prosecute OMG!!!!).

Proper Saturday afternoon telly beats reality shows and cookery programmes that's for sure..

As a child I was fascinated by the typists in the background. Decades later I won an Ebay auction for a light blue IBM Selectric "golfball" typewriter. Amazing machines but finding one in working order 50 years later is impossible.
